Terms and Conditions
Wifi Zone is a wireless internet service provided by Vodafone Samoa Ltd via wireless hot spots across Samoa. Wifi Zone pass cards can be purchased for 1 hour, 2 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours access.
Wifi Zone users can purchase Wifi Zone pre-paid pass cards from authorized Wifi Zone vendors, or online via the Wifi Zone website using the secure online payment gateway provided by ANZ eGate.
Each of the 2 hour pass and 8 hour pass Card and its balance are valid for 3 months from the time of its first use. At the end of each session, you must log off or disconnect completely from the Wifi Zone network. Closing the internet browser will not end the session.
The 12 hour pass Card is a “one shot” pass which expires 48 hours from its first use.

Terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of Wifi Zone pass cards:
- Wifi Zone pass cards (“Card”) are provided by Vodafone Samoa Ltd (“Vodafone”) to customers “you”) to access Vodafone’s Wifi Zone wireless internet service.
- Card validity: Each of the 1 hour pass, 2 hour pass and 8 hour pass Card and its balance are valid for 7 days from the time of its first use. The balance on the Card can be used over multiple sessions until the time balance reaches zero. In order to end a session you must use the log off feature on the web site or disconnect completely from the Wifi Zone network. Closing the browser will not end the current session. The 12 hour pass Card and its balance is valid for 48 hours from the time of its first use. All Card pricing is in Samoan tala.
- Download speeds: Wifi Zone service is available at download and uploads speeds of 1.0Mbps.
- Fair usage policy: Fair usage policy of 100MB per hour applies for the usage of any Cards. Vodafone reserves the right to change such usage policy without prior notice to customers.
- Internet acceptable usage policy: Use of the Card and the Wif Zone service is subject to Vodaone’s Internet Acceptable Usage Policy. Vodafone reserves the right to change such usage policy without prior notice to customers.
- Refund policy: If a Card is defective due to our fault, we will replace it if you tell us at the time you bought it. Other than this, a Card once sold will not be refundable for any reason whatsoever and has no surrender value. We will not refund any unused portion of the value of the Card for any reason whatsoever. We will not refund any remaining value stored on a Card that has the stored value erased or if it is lost or damaged, whether before or after its expiry date. Any refund enquiries should be directed to Wifi Zone customer service at wifizone@vodafone.com.ws. Vodafone will not refund transaction costs which are a mandatory bank charge. Vodafone will only void a transaction if contacted at least an hour before daily processing time of 5pm (Samoa time) on the day of purchase. Vodafone will only issue a refund after the daily transaction processing time of 5pm (Samoa time) on the day of purchase.
- Online payments: Online Card purchases are completed using ANZ Banking Group’s eGate secure online payment gateway and are subject to the terms and conditions of use for eGate. Following completion of payment online, Vodafone will provide to you a username and password which you can then use to log in to the Wifi Zone service. It is the customer’s responsibility to record and keep safe your username and password as this information cannot be retrieved by Vodafone.
- Privacy and security: Vodafone does not collect any personally identifiable information that customers provide to the online payment gateway. Such information is governed by the privacy and data security policies of ANZ, the online payment gateway provider.
- Limitation on use: The Card can only be used for the Wifi Zone service and/or such other services which may be designated by us from time to time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the use of the Card for any of such services at any time and without notice.
- Promotions: Vodafone’s in-house promotions and discounts are not applicable to the Card unless otherwise expressly stated by Vodafone.
- Exclusion: We will not be liable for any interruption, disruption to or deterioration in the quality, reliability or accuracy of the Card, or any technical issue which may arise from your use or inability to use the Card.
- Maximum liability: Subject to these terms & conditions, our maximum liability in relation to the use of the Card is limited to the price of the Card.
- No warranties: Vodafone makes no warranty, express or implied (other than statutory warranties), with respect to the Card and Wifi Zone services.
- Acceptance of terms: Use of the Card will constitute acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and any amendments.
- Revision of terms: Vodafone reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions (including pricing) at its discretion at any time without prior notice.
